The Story of Enable Injections

Enable Injections is a healthcare innovation company committed to improving the patient treatment experience through the development and manufacturing of their innovative enFuse device. As explained by Ryan Ramer, Associate Director of Information Technology, “The enFuse device is a wearable drug delivery solution that is the first ever purely mechanical device. There’s no pumps, there’s no motors attached to it… which is very innovative.” 

The device administers high-volume drugs in the subcutaneous space using a very small needle that extends out during treatment. Currently, the device is approved for the Epiley drug, marketed by Ellis Pharmaceuticals.

The Challenge

Enable Injections recognized the need to upgrade their HR technology infrastructure to support their growing organization. They partnered with AspireHR to implement the new Onboarding  module as a replacement for their existing Onboarding solution. As Ramer explains, “We wanted to leverage a lot of the new technologies and new features that were introduced with the new Onboarding, such as being able to fully complete the onboarding process from the end user’s mobile phone. That was a huge benefit to us and our employee base.”

The timing of the upgrade also presented a strategic opportunity. “The business has dramatically changed in the time since we implemented the original Onboarding,” notes Ramer. “We wanted to kind of go back to the drawing board in certain places and use the new Onboarding project as an opportunity to rethink some of those decisions and revamp some of our onboarding processes.”

 

Enable Injections selected AspireHR based on their proven track record and deep expertise. “We’ve used AspireHR since the very beginning,” says Ramer. “AspireHR was actually a recommendation to us from another consulting company that we use internally, and AspireHR has very fundamental intimate knowledge of our SuccessFactors platform.”

As Ramer notes, “The PMO resources that AspireHR brought forth kept the project going at a very good pace.” A key strength was AspireHR’s ability to provide specialized expertise across different modules: “With an Onboarding project, you’re gonna have needs both on the Employee Central side and also on the recruiting side. 

We use all of those modules with SuccessFactors, and AspireHR was able to bring forth the right resources with solid knowledge of each of those solutions at the right time.”

The implementation project achieved remarkable success, earning a perfect rating from Enable Injections. “The project was definitely a 10, a 10 out of 10 as far as I’m concerned,” states Ramer. “And as far as the business outlook is concerned, the project was completed on time, on budget.”
